Our first Story.
Not long gone. Fiction story.
Nora and I were alright. Until the night of the fire.
Well , its a long story. And it was also a long night.
We were all crouded around the naked flame from Nora's big sister , Laura who is 15,'s lighter.
I told her not to but she wouldn't listen to me.
"Bring your guests some drinks!" The old and drunk man mumbled to me while staggering down the stairs.
So I went and fetched the older ones beer and I brought me and Nora a pepsi. I had also brought wine for Mary , Sunny's sister who was 16. Sunny wasn't there. I knew that if I told my mother , who was out , they would litteraly kill me.
Nora giggled at the sight of me carrying all these drinks.
So Nora stood up and gave me a hand.
She took the beers off of me.
As I was walking I tripped over the rug and the wine splashed all over Laura's lighter.
The lighter exploaded and the only people contious were me , Nora and Laura. We tried to help the others but they were too heavy.
I feel a hot salty tear fall down my face as I watched at my house on fire.
"I-I-I NEED to call my mother." I sobbed.
"If you do I swear to god you will be dead in ten seconds flat." Laura said as she grabbed my neck and squeezed.
I wriggled out of her hands and ran to Nora who was on the floor with blood all over her face.
"NORA!" I cried.
"I'm okay." Nora whispered.
Just then Laura clapsed.
There was no pulse.
I ran to my neighbours and asked could I use a phone as my house was on fire.
She nodded.
I grabbed the phone and called 999 and soon they were here.
They put out the fire.
I then called mom.
She rushed home and grabbed me.
She asked me exactly what had happened.
I told her everything.
Laura was dead and everyone knew it.
Nora blamed me and now we aren't friends.
I still miss her.....
